Program Manager:
This is a part time position, with 10-15 hours per week and $22-$27/hour. The Program Manager reports to the Artistic Director. This is a 6 month contract with the potential to renew and increase hours.

You’re someone who is passionate about organizing things like events, your desk, and spreadsheets. You enjoy being in studio space for work but also like working on the go. You are all about decolonizing spaces and constantly questioning the status quo. You’re excited to contribute to the evolving mission of a growing BIPOC, female-led, performing arts organization.
Responsibilities could include:
Support the Artistic Director during the rehearsal process, including: running audio/visual equipment, managing schedules, documenting rehearsals, tracking contractor hours, managing payments/reimbursements.
Support Artistic Director in bookings and performance contracts.
Manage Doodle poll requests from work groups and staff and schedule meetings.
Coordinate meeting schedules and prepare agenda, memos, documents and notes for work groups including production meetings, or strategic planning meetings. Manage zoom calls.
Manage Nava Dance Theatre company calendar - coordinate rehearsal locations
Assist Program Manager and Grant Consultant with task management and deadlines
Assist with online and in-person event and workshop coordination
Manage press relations, marketing, and outreach
Be able to help identify new audiences and community engagement opportunities.
Help respond to audition requests and show inquiries
Organizational Development
Participate in strategic and long range planning for the organization
Actively participate in helping to develop and maintain a healthy work culture at Nava
Provide thought partnership and support for indigenizing/decolonizing work
Office/Administration:
Attend pre-determined weekly staff meeting (virtual)
Attend rehearsals every other week
Qualifications:
Strong interpersonal skills, a positive work attitude, excellent oral & written communication, and ease in interacting with diverse groups of people including international artists
Familiarity with Mac, Google, and social media platforms, including Google Office, video editing software, music editing software, Facebook and Instagram.
Available for in-person events (state safety guidelines would be adhered to)
